Yesterday we had the opportunity to explore four big new dining concepts coming to Disney Springs in the near future. Only The Edison has announced an opening date so far, it’s Grand Opening party on New Year’s Eve, but the rest look very close to opening as well.
Unfortunately, we weren’t allowed to take photos, but we were provided some photos to share with you today.
The complex will be operated by the Patina Restaurant Group and also include Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante, Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar, and Pizza Ponte. Each restaurant fits into the backstory of Disney Springs in its own unique way.
The Edison was once the power plant for the town of Disney Springs. It’s design is meant to evoke the steam powered age of innovation. Different dining areas have their own themes including: The Boiler Bar, The Ember Parlor, Telegraph Lounge, The Patent Office, The Tesla Lounge (I predict this will be very popular), The Radio Room, Waterfront Patio, and The Lab.
The Edison will serve Lunch and Dinner then after 10pm convert into a 21-and-over nightclub with a unique blend of entertainment that will include performers like contortionists, aerialists, live bands, DJs and more.
The other three restaurants exist in what was once Disney Springs’ Air Terminal. The story goes that Maria and Enzo ran a bakery in the air port, but upon its closure, they decided to open a small pizza by-the-slice restaurant (Pizza Ponte). With the success of that location, they were able to expand and transform the lounge areas of the old terminal into Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante.

Sounds cool.. especially the night-life.. been looking for unique entertainment since the Adventurer’s Club was shut down.. hopefully get to ditch the kids and go some night!
