As you stroll through the expanded Disney Springs your nose is likely to pick up the sweet scene of beautiful desserts being made as you approach Amorette’s Patisserie in the MarketPlace. As you peer through the window you’ll notice the impressive Mickey Dome Cakes that await purchase or perhaps even see a Disney chef making one right in front of you.

Now you can go a step further and learn how to decorate your own Mickey Dome Cake at Amorette’s Patisserie beginning March 31. Classes will be every Friday at 8:45 AM – 10:30AM every Friday through May 5 for this test run.

You’ll sip complimentary coffee, mimosas, and bellinis while you work with the professionals from the kitchen to complete your masterpiece. The Mickey Dome is all about the magical touches and you’ll learn about chocolate ears, the beautiful glaze each dome gets, and its ingredients. The best part is you get to take your cake hom to impress your friends and family with… and then devour, of course.

The Cake Decorating Experience at Amorette’s Patisserie costs $129 plus tax and is for ages 10 and up. You can decorate yourself or bring a helper. You can purchase a second cake for $40. Visit DisneyWorld.com/dining to make a reservation.

  1. Hmmm. If this is supposed to be Mickey’s pants (and I see a tail that helps confirm that), why are there ears coming out of his rear end?
