If you’re planning a stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, you can now reserve a trip on a private water taxi that will take you to any guest accessible destination around the Seven Seas Lagoon. Sounds completely delightful.
File this under, I wonder why they didn’t think of this earlier. Guests staying at the Grand Floridian Resort expect the best Disney has to offer and are paying the most for it. As such, even on vacation Time is Money. So giving them the ability to reserve a water taxi to take them to their destination seems like a no-brainer.
The price is $20 per family, each way. The taxi can accommodate up to 10 guests. You must make a reservation to use the water taxi via the Grand Floridian Recreation team at 321-318-8212. You may be asked to use regular Walt Disney World transportation back to the resort if the water taxi isn’t available at the time you want to return.
What do you think? If you’re planning a stay at the Grand Floridian, will you use the new Water Taxi service?

Only time i would use it would be to go to Wilderness Lodge and I could just wait for the regular shuttle so I wouldn’t be tied down to a schedule. Not sure about other families, but in mine, with 10 guests, there’s someone bound to be late!
getting a little like the airlines, pay for this, pay for that. Do not like the way this might be heading.
Awesome! Not sure exactly how many locations are accessible from here, but I would definitely use this.
