Right now the cone of uncertainty for Hurricane Matthew is thankfully avoiding the Florida mainland. If you’re in Haiti or the Bahamas, you’re not so lucky. Since current itineraries for the Disney Dream would normally take it into that area, they’ve decided to shift this week’s course.
This week the Dream will now sail to the western Caribbean and include a stop in Cozumel, Mexico. There will be no stop at Castaway Cay. At this point it’s too early to tell if future cruises will need to be adjusted.
The Disney Magic’s sailing itinerary remains unchanged and the Disney Wonder is currently in dry dock. Updates on the Disney Wonder will take until Late October with the first cruise scheduled for November. Here’s a look at some of the changes coming to the Disney Wonder:
We wrote more about these enhancements back in June when they were announced. When the Disney Wonder returns to service it will alternate between Western Caribbean cruises and Bahamian cruises out of Galvaston, Texas.
