If you live in Southern California (or are willing to travel), you’re in for a treat this Halloween as The Nightmare Before Christmas returns to The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles for three nights.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 28, 29 and 30, Danny Elfman (Jack Skellington), Catherine O’Hara (Sally), Ken Page (Oogie Boogie) and Paul Reubens (Lock) will return to sing live with an orchestra on stage, as their respective characters. While they do this, the film will play on a massive screen behind them.

How cool is that???

Ahead of the show, there will also be several spooky activities including a costume contest, unique photo opportunities, and trick-or-treating stations.

Tickets for Danny Elfman: Halloween at The Hollywood Bowl: “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” are $35 – $199.50 (+ tax/Ticketmaster fees). You can purchase tickets, and get more information, at HollywoodBowl.com.

This show was very popular in its previous years at the Bowl and other venues. I’m very glad to see them bringing it back so more can enjoy the experience.

Who’s planning on going?
