Disney’s Boardwalk to add handcrafted Ice Creamery

boardwalk-inn-disney

A taste of Brooklyn-New York is coming to Disney’s Boardwalk Inn & Villas? Ample Hills Creamery will be moving into a re-imagined take on a turn-of-the-century ice cream parlor and will begin delivering premium ice cream treats from its first location outside of New York City.

The location will open later this spring at Disney’s Boardwalk, one of our favorite places for an evening or late night stroll. It will feature kitchen windows that look out over the boardwalk where guests will be able to watch ice cream handcrafted the old-fashioned way.

Apparently The Ample Hills Creamery has a big following, that sometimes includes lines out the door, not at least in part due to their signature flavor creations like: Ooey Gooey Butter Cake, Coffee Toffee Coffee, Malty Salty Pretzel Punch, Cotton Candy, and more. We’re told they’re working on a one-of-a-kind flavor developed exclusively for their Walt Disney World Resort establishment.

  1. Yes, Ample Hills in Disney!!! Trust me, it’s worth the hype. You’re right, the lines are often out the door and it’s obviously more expensive than, say, baskin robbins, but it’s worth all of that.
