Cirque du Soleil La Nouba Trapeze Team Schedules One-of-a-kind performance for Livestream

One of best entertainment options at Disney Springs, Cirque du Soleil’s La Nouba is scheduling a special performance that everyone can see. It will hold a one-of-a-kind Trapeze show that you can watch at home via Facebook Live or Periscope.

During the live performance on March 31st they will attempt two rarely performed trapeze tricks, the “Double & half layout to the legs” and the “Quadruple” layout. Both are very rare, but the quadruple is rumored to have been completed less than 20 times in the 150 year history of Trapeze.

“We are delighted to partner with Experience Kissimmee as we bring this rare performance to life via Facebook Live,” said Neil Boyd, Company Manager for La Nouba. “This collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and Experience Kissimmee allows for a new, emerging way to engage fans during our attempt at feats that are not common to the show.”

The Disney Blog was invited in for a special preview today as the Trapeze artists practiced these incredibly difficult maneuvers.

To see the live broadcasts from behind the scenes and the trapeze act, visit Experience Kissimmee’s official Facebook page at during the 6 p.m. EDT performance of La Nouba on Thursday, March 31. Experience Kissimmee will also broadcast via Periscope. Follow @Kissimmee on Twitter for updates.
