On Sunday we toured a few of the new Star War Experiences offered at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but we neglected one of the important elements of any Disney theme park experience – the food.
Disney has a whole galaxy of Star Wars themed food choices available to satisfy the palate of any Star Wars fan. Included are various novelty items and specialty foods inspired by that galaxy far, far away, such as Blue Milk Panna Cotta, Padawan Limeade, BB-8 Lemon and Butter Cream cupcake and a Han Solo Souvenir Kid’s Meal served in a Han Solo-themed bucket, are available at various locations inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Backlot Express (near Star Tours) has many of these items on their menu.
Prices range depending on what and where you order, but here are some idea of what you’ll be paying. The BB-8 Souvenir Stein (with fountain beverage) is $13.00, the TIE Fighter popcorn is $25, and the Darth Vader helmet with popcorn is $12.50. The Royal Guard Burger is $12.49
Additionally, you will soon be able to purchase admission to a dessert party during the fireworks show which will feature Star Wars themed desserts, specialty drinks, and a souvenir Chewbacca stein.
I’m excited to try some of these galactic Star Wars themed food offerings on my next visit to the DHS and will report back with a full review. Do any of the novelty items or food items look good to you?
