Harrison Ford plays the scruffy looking nerf-herder, space smuggler, and eventual hero of the rebellion Han Solo. Ford has been the most successful of the stars from the original Star Wars trilogy. Unadjusted for inflation his worldwide box office results total over $6.5 Billion. His least successful film was the 2009 art house flop “Crossing Over” which brought in just $3.5m. His highest grossing film to date is the latest film in the Indiana Jones franchise “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” which earned $786M worldwide. Current box office estimates for Episode VII are somewhere north of $1Bn with some prognosticators speculating a total somewhere north of $2Bn.
