I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Discovery Cove is my favorite theme park in Orlando. As a boutique theme park, the attendance is limited so you never feel like the park is crowded. As an all-inclusive resort you can eat and drink until your swimsuit no longer fits. The attractions are few in number, but endless in variety, thanks to the beauty of nature that Discovery Cove surrounds you with. Plus, there’s no where else in Orlando where you can have an upclose dolphin swim experience.
During the off-season Discovery Cove has been known to offer discounts to Florida residents and they just announced that special is back for 2015.
As a local, if you plan to visit SeaWorld Orlando and/or Aquatica in the coming months, Discovery Cove has sweetened the pot even further. With your admission to Discovery Cove, you get to enjoy unlimited admission to SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica through Jan 31, 2016. This gives you a chance to experience both the Halloween and Christmas seasons at SeaWorld, two of the better values in Orlando as they’re included with park admission and not separate tickets like at Magic Kingdom or Universal.
