New Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwich Food Truck at EPCOT

EPCOT has opened a new quick service location that will have you dreaming of delicious gooey gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. The Taste Track food cart specializes in a grilled cheese sandwiches that have been kicked up a few notches until “Bam” your have a flavor blow-out.

Located near the exit to Test Track, the location currently has a few stand up tables to dine at, but the Electric Umbrella is just a short walk away if you want to dine in air-conditioning. We stopped by at dinner time on a rainy evening and found it closed. Hopefully your luck will be better.

It serves three different gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, each with your choice of Tomato Bisque soup or Side Salad. It’s hard to choose which of the three sandwiches you’ll try. They all look so good:

• Gruyere and Applewood Smoked Bacon with caramelized onions on sour dough bread
• Fontina and tomato basic with balsamic glaze on sour dough bread
• Canadian Cheddar and apples with apple butter on cinnamon raisin bread

There is also a Roasted chicken salad option with golden raisins, candied pecans, apples, cheese, and a white balsamic dijon vinaigrette.

Although Taste Track looks like a mobile food cart, it is a permanent location. Hours may be limited based on expected crowd levels, however.
