That’s it folks, the first Star Wars VII trailer. We don’t see much but what we do see is extremely satisfying.
From the rumors we have heard (see my rumor breakdown) I think we can safely assume that they are mostly true.
We see John Boyega’s Storm Trooper seemingly lost or crash landed on Tatooine. We got our first glimpse of Daisy Ridley’s character and the first glimpse of a villain who has a pretty sweet new light saber.
Beside all of this we have some awesome shots including a soccer ball droid, x-wing’s in attack formation, and the icing on the cake is the gratuitous shot of the millennium falcon.
Needless to say, I have all the goosebumps and I may have actually giggled with excitement. The Force Awakens December 18th, 2015.

I know it’s impossible to judge a movie by its trailer, but this looks like it might be pretty good. There doesn’t seem to be as much fancy schmancy CGI as there was in episodes 1,2 and 3. Yeah, I’m sure there’s plenty of CGI, but not the kind that says “Hey, look at all this crazy stuff we can do with a computer. Aren’t we cool!”
It brought tears to my eyes! Like you wrote in you other post, “buy your tickets now”!!
