A second trailer for Age of Ultron was just released! Unfortunately it is severely lacking in any form of substantial new footage.
We do see a little more of what is most likely the battle with Baron Von Struckers forces in the beginning of the film. Along with a longer speech by Ultron during the Avengers Tower Party scene ending with his first attack on the Avengers. Not too mention one or two more scenes with Black Widow.
Probably the most telling of the new scenes is one that seems to highlight Loki’s staff from the first Avengers. We know that, thanks to Idris Elba (Heimdall), there is one scene with Heimdall, Loki, and Thor. This combined with the confirmation that his staff is the mind infinity gem leaves us with a lot of potential scenarios to play out.
Even though we got very little in new footage, the bits we do get are very exciting. Are you excited to see the Avengers take on Ultron May 1st. 2015?
The problem with the rumor that Loki’s staff is one of the Infinity Stones (and, yes, it is still a rumor) is that we know it’s powered by the Tesseract. It doesn’t make sense to have the Tesseract be two Infinity Stones.
