The annual CANstruction Orlando event once again brought out the best in Disney’s design team and all for a good cause. These fantastic and large sculptures use nothing but cans of food and ingenuity to make some amazing art. And, when the display comes down, the food is donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, an organization Disney has supported for 20 years.

Over 11,000 canned and packaged food items were used to create those iconic Mouse Ears and the tribute to Disney’s beloved attraction “it’s a small world.” Teams from both Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney World Design & Engineering were involved.

This year’s event took place at the Fashion Square Mall, but sadly the De-Canstruction has already occurred. You can see more can photos at the Canstruction Orlando Facebook page.
