This on board video was taken during my first ever ride on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. I’m seeing everything for the first time as the GoPro was running. The kind folks on Disney’s production team also edited in a POV on ride video of the ride. So you get a little of both the ride and my reaction to it.
I rode the attraction three more times after this experience. Once in the front, the middle, and the back. They all have different experiences. I’ll have another post with a longer review of the attraction later. For now, let’s just say this gem fits nicely in the the jeweled crown of Fantasyland. In a few years it will seem like it’s been there forever and this is how the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs should be told.
Is there an age/height restriction on the ride? We’re heading to disney in a few months with our 4 year old daughter, not sure if she’ll be able to ride it?
Height limit is 38in.
Is this ride open yet? We visit on the 6th of may for 2 weeks.
any guesses if they will be offering soft openings to regular guests this week? we will be in MK on 5/5 and 5/9

I’m going to MK in the next two weeks, do you think it will be open? If not how do you get on a soft opening? I’m taking my son for his birthday and it would be so cool if we were able to ride this! Thanks for all the photos/videos. At least we can see it through you if not for ourselves.
