Walt Disney Imagineering Shares First Ride-Through Video Of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

sdmt-cars-on-track

Walt Disney Imagineering has released some wonderful footage that compares a full ride-through of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train side-by-side with an original pre-vis CGI ride-through that was created early on in the attraction’s development. Of course, the full ride-through is at night so you can’t see the incomplete landscaping. Also a lot of the show scenes remain incomplete, but it’s very exciting to see how close they are so far.

What do you think of the experience as represented in this video? The vehicles seem to swing less than I expected them too. But then again they’re empty, so a full ride vehicle might be a different experience.

  1. I can’t wait to take a ride.

It doesn’t look to be as intense as Big Thunder but it is in Fantasyland and maybe smaller kids will be able to ride as well.
