The world premiere for Iron Man 3 is streaming live from the Red Carpet right now. Predictions for the movie are calling for a massive box office suitable to Tony Stark’s persona. Some are even wondering if it can surpass the $1.5 Billion toll of The Avengers.
Us mere mortals get our chance at seeing the movie on May 3rd. But in the meantime, here’s another TV spot for the film

Are you planning to see Iron Man 3 in 3D, in IMAX, or just the big screen is enough for you? What is your box office prediction?
Big opening weekend, with a quick drop off. North American box office will stop at about 250 million is my guess after a 125 million opening. Of course that’s a big movie, but there will be several movies this year that will be bigger. Variety says it lacks some of the wit and fun of the first ones and anything with a ‘3’ in the title often feels tired. In a way, it’s Iron Man 4, because of The Avengers.
