Congrats to Disney Theatrical President Thomas Schumacher who recently gave a terrific talk on inclusivity in a speech titled: Embracing All Audiences at TEDxBroadway. It’s a wonderful insight into what drives him to produce terrific theater.
It’s obvious Schumacher has a passion for theater but many people forget he led Walt Disney Feature Animation through most of its 90s renaissance. Of course he wasn’t a hit with all the animators. I’m happy he’s found success on Broadway for Disney and look forward to even more from this often forgotten part of the company.
