The main dining room, the ballroom
I’ve often wondered why Disney Hollywood Studios has spent a lot of money and time to promote American Idol, when a Disney owned property with its own following was also available. We still don’t have a Dancing With The Stars attraction, but we did get a visit from two of the dance professionals.
Tony Dovolani & Chelsie Hightower were in town to help open the New Fantasyland expansion and to recreate the waltz scene from Beauty and the Beast, set inside the newly opened Be Our Guest Restaurant, which features a recreation of the ballroom as one of its three dining rooms:
It’s not quite a DWTS attraction, but I do think it could work.
