Disneyland Resort for the Holidays is Festive Fun

  • by

This year at the Disneyland Resort you can see something you’ve never seen before, Cars Land decorated for the holidays. It’s as fabulous as it sounds.

In addition to the festive automotive decor of Cars Land (more photos at the bottom of this post) there is also the tasteful glamor of Buena Vista Street, making Disney California Adventure the perfect holiday compliment to the parade, fireworks, and jamboree fun found in Disneyland.

Downtown Disney and the hotels are in full swing, too (that’s the lobby of the Grand Californian and Trader Sam’s at the Disneyland Hotel, respectively, shown above). Basically, there is holiday magic everywhere there is Disney magic, and the two go together swimmingly.

My family and I attended a press event at Disneyland Resort to experience the holiday happenings, and despite a full day on property we still didn’t see it all—of course, that was partly our fault, we were often sidetracked by seasonal shopping for gifts and ornaments. It’s our thing.

And then there are the seasonal treats.

Right?

My point is, there are few things this side of peanut butter and chocolate that are better than Disneyland during the holidays, and if you have the opportunity to visit between now and January 6, 2013, then you should. It’s like a big, fun present, and you deserve it.

As promised, here are some more photos of Cars Land and its fresh coat of holiday paint:
