Walls Come Down Around Maurice’s Cottage in New Fantasyland

Maurice's Cottage

Our spy in the park today sent us five great photos of Maurice’s cottage and even more of New Fantasyland including Gaston’s Village and the bridge to Beast’s Castle and the Be Our Guest restaurant. This was all possible due to the removal of walls around the area leading up to Enchanted Tales with Belle. They’ve been replaced with planters on wheels.

The show and meet and greet experience has been in soft testing off and on for a few weeks now. Looks like they might be ready to open it on more of a full time basis soon. For that matter it looks like we may soon be able to walk all around the back of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train mountain (should we just call it Snow Mountain in honor of the original Snow Mountain at Disneyland that was eventually removed to build the Matterhorn).

  1. I couldn’t be more excited about this amazing expansion. They did a fantastic job!! I have been following the construction since last year when they started and I can’t wait to see it with my own eyes!!
