Hurricane Forecast Revised Upward

The hurricane prediction team has revised its forecast for the 2012 season that began yesterday. Previously, they believed there would be 10 named storms, with 3 major storms. Now they have upped that number to 13. Considering there have already been 2 storms this year, that is probably a good call. Another revision will be made later in the season.

13 storms is still below the average for each year of 16. So in theory it is a relatively quiet season. We’ll see how that works out.

Do you take major storm season (June -Oct ) into consideration when planning you Disney World vacation dates?  Have you ever been at WDW when a storm hit? What was it like?
