Andy and Sara Neitzert have produced what looks to be a charming documentary film chronicling the history and life of Walt Disney’s “hometown” Marceline. They’ve just released a trailer and I love how it focuses on the people, not just the place. There are still many people in Marceline who knew Walt and it’s terrific to have their stories captured on film.
There’s so much Disney history in Marceline. Sadly much of it has been neglected in these topsy-turvy financial times. I hope Disney fans will continue to support efforts like this to preserve the back story to our fandom.
Find more at their production blog or help them raise funds to enter the film on the important festival circuit.
