Win a trip to London for Rapunzel’s Royal Celebration

Here’s your chance to be part of the magic! On October 2nd, Rapunzel will be welcomed into the Disney Princess Court at Kensington Palace in London. Disney is offering a contest called “Your Princess Moment – The Story Begins With You.” Fans age 12 and under are invited to submit a 45-second video singing, dressing up, or dancing inspired by their favorite Disney Princess.

Entries are accepted until September 12, 2011, for the ultimate grand prize: a trip for four to London for the celebration. If you miss the initial cutoff, you can submit a video until October 2nd and be eligible for an assortment of prizes from DVDs to toys, or even a 3D TV. (Parental consent is required, and parents can upload videos on behalf of their children.)

Disney will officially welcome Rapunzel as the 10th Disney Princess character at a high profile, star-studded celebration, to take place in front of a global audience on Oct. 2, 2011. Little princesses from across the globe will watch Rapunzel be welcomed into the Disney Princess royal court by Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Snow White and Tiana. In a world first, Kensington Palace, London, UK, was chosen by Disney as the perfect location for this magical welcoming ceremony of a Disney Princess, as it has been the home of many real life princesses over the centuries.

Fans in the London area are invited to join the event!

There will be a Disney Princess procession through Kensington Gardens which everyone can attend for free and without a ticket. More information about that will be posted to disney.co.uk as it’s available. Since I’ll be in London in the fall for graduate school, I’m hoping that I’ll be able to attend the event so I can share it with all of you.
