As Disney expects you to make your travel arrangements, including dining reservations a full 6 months before the date, they’re actually a little late releasing this year’s line up celebrity narrators at the 2011 EPCOT Candlelight Processional. Even now, they still have a number of spots that are yet to be determined.
Here’s the current list:
Nov. 25-27 — Mira Sorvino (“Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion”)
Nov. 28-Dec. 1 — Michael W. Smith (Christian singer)
Dec. 2-3 — Whoopi Goldberg (“The View”)
Nov. 4-6 — TBD
Dec. 7-9 — Isabella Rossellini (“Alias”)
Dec. 10-12 — Neil Patrick Harris (“How I Met Your Mother”)
Dec. 13-14 — TBD
Dec. 16-18 — TBD
Dec. 19-21 — Trace Adkins (country singer)
Dec. 22-24 — Susan Lucci (“All My Children”)
Dec. 25-27 — Blair Underwood (“The Event”)
Dec. 28-30 — Marlee Matlin (“Celebrity Apprentice”)
Of these I’ve only seen Neil Patrick Harris. In 2008 his performance was a bit stiffer than I imagined (I’ve seen NPH at his wildest on stage in RENT). He spent a lot of the performance standing with his hands in his pockets. Apparently, he was better on other nights. I may give him a second chance this year.
These shows fill up on a first-come, first-served basis. Many people enjoy buying a Candlelight Processional dining package. Lunch and dinner packages, which include a meal, reserved seating at the show, and pre-arranged fireworks viewing, will go on sale in July.
Which celebrities would you really like to see fill one of the open slots? Pick one Disney related and one from any where.
non Disney – Justin Bieber
Disney – Crush from Turtle Time with Crush
Serious Disney – one of their DC stars… Brigit Mendler, Selena Gomez, Sterling Knight maybe Debbie Ryan.
I’d like to see Tim Allen or Tom Hanks (hopefully on Dec. 13 or 14 since I’ll be there those days).
John O’Hurley isn’t on the list yet and he’s there every year.

Andy Garcia
Phillicia Rashad, who did the CD version.
I would love to see Tom Hanks do it and Kelly Ripa.
Would love to see Gary Sinise back — never had a chance to see him (or any Candlelight Processional, yet) but heard he was fantastic!
I would love to have Sandy Patti come back and also think Donna Summer would be a great addition. How about Matthew Morrison?
