Lemonade Mouth – DVD review

Be heard. Be strong. Be proud. That’s the call for Disney’s latest Disney Channel hit – Lemonade Mouth. Disney’s latest television movie is indeed a big hit. And it’s out now on an Exclusive 2-Disc DVD + Digital Copy set featuring an exclusive extended music scene. The Disney Channel Original Movie, stars Bridgit Mendler, Adam Hicks, Hayley Kiyoko, Naomi Scott, Blake Michael, Nick Roux, Chris Brochu, Tisha Campbell-Martin and Christopher McDonald and fits in nicely with Disney’s latest teen movie collection.

I’m mostly reviewing the DVD features here. I found the video quality to be fantastic, it was made for TV after all. The extra “High Wire” scene was fun and it did make for a next extension of the original film. I also enjoyed the Karaoke feature that added subtitles during the movies songs. But other than that, there’s not a lot to write home about.

None of the behind the scenes stuff, popups, interviews, all the fun stuff from the Disney Channel viewings, were there. None of the usual DVD features either, no director’s commentary, deleted scenes, etc. If that’s what you enjoy when you buy a DVD, then you may want to skip this release and wait for a future one.
