First still from Brave provides look at Princess Merida

For those waiting to see what’s so exciting about Pixar’s next film, check out the very first still from the movie. Dutch animation blog Animatie found the still from Brave posted on a French Disney fan page on Facebook and since then it’s been making the rounds.

The still provides our first look at Princess Merida (as voiced by Kelly McDonald) in fully-rendered form, very similar to this concept art revealed in March. I’m loving the ‘realism’ and depth of field that comes from this piece. Can’t wait to see more!
