Discovery Cove’s The Grand Reef- Construction Site Tour

A few days ago, I was invited to take a tour of the construction site for SeaWorld Orlando Discovery Cove’s next big expansion – The Grand Reef. Scheduled to open in June 2011, The Grand Reef is 2.5 acres of total immersion in the world of life along a seawater reef.

In the video below you’ll hear from SeaWorld’s experts exactly what the experience will be like, then learn some of the secrets behind Discovery Cove’s newest up-charge experience the SeaVenture. We were standing right in the middle of what will eventually be hundreds of thousands of gallons of water, but you can really see the experience taking shape. It promises to be an amazing adventure.
