Sorcerer’s Apprentice helps launch Twitter’s EarlyBird

Twitter just launched a new service called @EarlyBird. It’s basically a channel that will alert followers to special deals. The first deal just happens to be special two for one tickets to Disney’s Sorcerer’s Apprentice via Fandango. Act soon as this is a limited time offer.

More on EarlyBird below the jump:

@earlybird is a new Twitter account (unveiled just last week) that gives people Twitter-exclusive deals in entertainment, fashion, technology, beauty, travel and more. Today marks the first time Twitter has made an @earlybird Exclusive Offer to consumers.

For a limited time, @earlybird and Disney Pictures will offer Twitter users a special “buy one, get one free” deal on tickets to “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” a new feature film from Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films that opens in theaters today.

This is the second time Twitter has worked with Disney to launch new advertising initiatives. Last month, they introduced Promoted Trends with a Promoted Trend for the Walt Disney Pictures / Pixar Animation film “Toy Story 3.”
