What’s Next for Dwayne Wade? He’s going to Disney World

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade poses July 11, 2010 with a basketball-clad Mickey Mouse at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. In honor of Wade’s visit to the 220-acre sports facility, Walt Disney World presented him with a custom-made and hand-painted trio of basketballs in the shape of Mickey Mouse’s head.

Wade stopped by ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex to play a fun 3-on-3 game with Mickey Mouse and AAU girls basketball players from South Florida and Louisiana. The youth teams are competing in the AAU Girls Basketball National Championships. Wade, a former AAU youth basketball player and sponsor of a boys AAU basketball team, shared some words of wisdom with the girls and posed for photos.

The Disney World visit ended a week which saw Wade re-sign with the Miami Heat, where he will be joined next season by newly signed stars LeBron James and Chris Bosh. (Photo Courtesy Disney. Todd Anderson, photographer)
