Vanity Fair profiles Disney’s Ink and Paint Ladies

One of the big benefits of being involved in groups like NFFC and LaughingPlace.com is you get to meet some of the people involved in creating the magic when Walt was around. Among my favorites to sit and talk to are the Ink and Paint Ladies. Although they’re considerably less heralded than the animation artists, the Ink and Paint Ladies played an important part in the particular brand of animation that Walt created.

If you haven’t had those opportunities you’ll want to read this Vanity Fair article which shares some stories of Ink and Paint alumni as they return to the Walt Disney Studios.
