Disney’s pint sized canines are barking up a big box office number and landed themselves on top of the heap with a $29 million opening weekend. They even pulled in a respectable $9,000 per screen. Not too shabby for Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
I don’t plan on seeing BHC, maybe on DVD, but I do think it’s nice that Disney is returning to do simple movies that are also just plain fun.
