Jennifer at Broke Hoedown reports on an email she received from the first same-sex couple to be legally married at the Disneyland Resort. Sarah and Robyn were married on August 2nd at the Disneyland Hotel in a the beautiful setting of the garden gazebo. Photographer Chenin Boutwell captured the happy couple’s ceremony and has made it available on her blog. Chenin’s photos are truly gorgeous, and the couple equally handsome and stunning.
I’m very happy to see the State of California and the Disneyland Resort recognizing the rights of all couples to marry legally. My wife and I were the first to be married in the El Capital Presidential suite at the Grand Californian and it was a magical experience and a great way to set off on our life’s adventure. I wish Sarah and Robyn a long and happy adventure of their own.
Yay!!! That’s so cool. It’s nice to see that all citizens of California now have the right to marry the person they love. It’s been a long time coming. And those wedding photos are gorgeous. I’m not the marrying type, but if I were, I’d want to do it at Disneyland.
