Theme Park Injury Report

The Orlando Sentinel has a roundup of last quarter’s injury reports from Central Florida attractions. Just your usual assortment of broken bones, heart attacks, and seizures. For instance:

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a man, 32, had neck and head pain on Tower of Terror on April 5; a man, 54, felt ill and had a possible heart attack on The Great Movie Ride on May 19; a woman, 47, broke an ankle on a Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground slide on May 26; and a woman, 25, had a seizure on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster on June 5.

The reporting by theme parks is voluntary only includes incidents that resulted in an overnight stay at the hospital. So a lot of broken bones and less serious, but still significant, injuries are probably not included.
