- There has been some controversy with High School Musical 2 being available on Cablevision’s On-Demand (warning spoilers!) package as of last night, even though it won’t debut on The Disney Channel until Friday night. So many fans have already seen the movie. The rest of us have to wait until Friday.
- For more HSM2, The Orlando Sentinel profiles Ashley Tisdale and her character of Sharpay, a fan favorite and sure to go down as one of Disney’s more comical villainesses.
- Disney and Wal-mart have teamed up to provide free wake up calls from your favorite High School Musical Star. As long as your favorite character is Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) or Chad (Corbin Bleu). Kids under 18 will need the approval of a parent or guardian.
I hope everyone who made it to stand along the ‘blue carpet’ had a wonderful time yesterday. If you weren’t there and weren’t watching the live stream on the net, here’s KABC’s collection of interviews with the stars of HSM as they paraded by. Pedro finished his live blogging with a lot of photos. Junior Celebs has some coverage as well.
The sound mixing in High School Musical II was poorly done. Many of the lead vocals were over-digitized to give them the “in a box” sound. While watching the movie Friday night, I kept yearning to hear the real voices, not the modified ones.
