Will Disney’s Enchanted be next Franchise for Mouse House?

Reuters speaks with Disney’s Kevin Lima, director of the November release "Enchanted." The movie is already carrying a large load as it marks Disney’s return to hand-drawn animation for the 15 minute opening segment of the film. Now this article wants to saddle it with the label of Next Big Franchise.

I am hearing good things about the film, the animation, even the story. But I am worried that the story is retreading territory that’s been heavily visited recently, that of a fractured fairytale. So let’s not put too big a burden on Disney’s "Enchanted". Ok.
