The ratings for last night’s broadcast of the Academy Awards was a slight ratings improvement over last year, but still not near the numbers the show has seen in the past. There was no real controversy this year and, sadly, hardly any entertainment value either. Still they must be doing something right if the numbers are ticking upward.
