DVD sales and the return of advertising money helped pump the numbers up. Let’s not forget about ‘Cars’ and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest" either. Advertising and retail sales related to High School Musical were also big earners for the company. Themepark attendance was up 3% generally, but down in Hong Kong and Anaheim. But that’s one shadow on an otherwise bright day.
