The current owners of the house Elias Disney built for his family in Chicago, have put the home up for auction on eBay. Opening bid is currently at $250,000.00. This is the home where the Disney’s lived when Walt was born. He’d live there for four years before moving to Marceline, MO to escape the growing gang presence in Chicago.
Chicago is a different place than 1901 when Walt Disney was born. Originally on the outskirts of town, time has moved by this house. But still, it would be a cool piece to have in the collection for any Disney fan. Sort of the ultimate ‘One-of-a-Kind’.
