The Hollywood Reporters Risky Business Blog has two interesting points on the Gibson affair (I’m sorry, I can’t help it. The story keeps popping up on my radar). First they claim that Oren Aviv says this won’t change Disney’s plans to release Apacalypto. Which is fine, I think. We should be able to separate the art from the artists, right? Second, Mel has apologized and the Anti-Defamation League accepts. Now, if Mel keeps his word to reach out and heal the wounds he’s aggravated, then this will all be wrapped up in a pretty hollywood style bow, right?
