Changes are underway at the Downtown Disney property known as Pleasure Island. The Orlando Sentinel has two great stories and a map highlighting the changes and the reason why. Alas, it doesn’t look like the changes will be as drastic as had once been rumored.
The changes will take a little more advantage of the lake vista, but with the stages removed there will be even less of a reason to stop and stay in the area. A few shops and bars won’t attract. That said Disney is probably not releasing all the details right now. So I hope they have a few more improvements up their sleeves.
