George Britton was hired in 1969 to help manage the train fleet at the still under construction Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. He retired yesterday after more than 35 years of near perfection in guest service and putting on a great show for the guests. From all us fans, let me say "thanks George for the memories and the fun".
The Railroad is the first thing you see when you enter the park and the last thing you see before you board the monorail; for 35 years you’ve provided the perfect bookends to the perfect Disney experience. As the Railroad is my son’s favorite attraction I know your work has meant a lot to him.
