I maybe mis-remembering, but I believe you used to be able to listen to RadioDisney streaming over the internet. It went away for whatever reason, but now it’s back and in version 2.0(beta).
"Streaming on RadioDisney.com
is part of our overall strategy to be the kid and family music leader
across different media platforms," said Jean-Paul Colaco, president and
general manager, Radio Disney Worldwide. "Now, more than ever before,
kids and families are engaging in multi-tasking, especially as they
surf on the Internet. Streaming enables our listeners to stay connected
with Radio Disney in a way that is in tune with their lifestyles."
It’s probably asking too much too soon, but I’d love to see two channels available online. One for the kid-pop music that Radio Disney appears to have become, and one that promotes more traditional Disney tunes and artists. I’m certain the cost is negligible and the synergy opportunites are wonderful. It’s one of the things that Disney-fans have been doing for years via sites like Live365, so the market is there. (via)
