Disney & National Geographic Unveil Earth Day-Themed Programming Slate as Part of ourHome

The Walt Disney Company and National Geographic have unveiled a slate of Earth Day-themed programming as part of their global cross-platform ourHome campaign.

Through April 22, Earth Day-themed content will be featured across ABC News, Disney+, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Freeform, FX, FXX, Hulu, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild and Nat Geo Mundo, with ourHome collections also found on Disney+ and Hulu.

Highlights include the debuts of the latest installment of Nat Geo’s Emmy-winning “Secrets Of…” franchise, “Secrets of the Octopus,” narrated by Paul Rudd, and Disneynature’s new feature film “Tigerl,” narrated by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, which will stream on Disney+.

Plus, beginning on Sunday, April 21, ABC News will launch a special week-long series for ourHome, “Power of Us: People, The Climate, and Our Future,” featuring innovative solutions for climate change.

The series will be led by ABC News’ chief meteorologist and climate correspondent, Ginger Zee, along with the ABC News weather and climate unit. “Power of Us” will air across ABC News programs and platforms, ABC Owned Television Stations and ABC affiliate stations through Friday, April 26.
