Tugger, an ex-Disney Film

Tugger, The Jeep Who Wanted to Fly was produced by Genesis Orlando, a tiny animation house in Celebration founded by a Disney veteran. And it will star another Disney vet: Jim Belushi will sing and talk as the voice of Tugger in the 3-D computer-animated cartoon Tugger is one of the first of a new… Read More »Tugger, an ex-Disney Film

Sad News from the Animal Kingdom

Sad news from the zoologists at Disney’s Animal Kingdom,  Ibala, the 26-year-old African elephant that lost her baby last month, has died from an infection related to the pregnancy. A successful birth would have been Disney World’s third in the last three years. A very high rate for any elephant group in captivity.

LaughingPlace.com has captured rare footage of a completely untethered, unleashed, Dinosaur being introduced to the throngs of tourists at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando. Don’t worry it’s not bioengineering, this Dinosaur won’t break loose of its pen and eat the guests. No, Lucky… Read More »When Did Dinosaurs Roam The Earth?

Hong Kong Disneyland workers train at Disney World

For the 6 weeks that I’ve been in Orlando and frequently visit the Disney themeparks here it has been easy to notice the presense of 500 workers from Hong Kong (CNN is running a story today). They all wear a bright red ribbon beneath their nametags. The ribbon identifies them as being from Hong Kong… Read More »Hong Kong Disneyland workers train at Disney World
