Yesterday the Walt Disney Company released a statement on the death of Disney Legend Peter Ellenshaw. I’ve included it in full below the cut. The LA Times, Variety, the Hollywood Reporter, and the AP have printed obituaries.
There have also been a number of nice tributes for Ellenshaw across the net. Jim Hill has a nice story about the kind of man Ellenshaw was. Michael Sporn, CartoonBrew, RocketHound, and Brian Sibley have also written on Ellenshaw’s life and talent.
Big props to Charles Gibson and the crew at ABC World News Tonight for taking over #1 in the Neilsen ratings this week. Gibson has always seemed like the natural successor to Peter Jennings to me.
