Ya shoulda bought in August.

Home Media Retailing reports that Disney’s video and DVD distribution arm Buena Vista Video has decided to end their experiment with Disposable DVDs, known as EZ-D. I’m not shocked at this. Disney auctions off more history!

Disney is set to auction off more of its history. This time a couple of attraction vehicles from Disneyland including an old skyway car and a space mountain vechicle. 3D – home disney movies

Break out those 3-D glasses, 3D DisVids has released a set of 3-D home movies taken at Disney themeparks. So far we have The Nightmare Before Christmas version of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion and The It’s A Small World Holiday. They work great on your screen. Try it at home!

Hong Kong Disneyland, now accepting reservations

According to a story on HotelChatter.com the hotel resorts at Hong Kong Disneyland are now accepting ressies for the September opening. Whether this will be a stunner or a bummer remains to be seen, but Disney’s first foray into the Chinese themepark market is bound to make waves.

Celebration, a new look.

This last week Slate magazine featured a pictoral look at Celebration, FL with commentary and photos by architect Witold Rybczynski. His conclusions are mixed (generally good residential and poor commercial) and his observations about the direction Celebration has taken rings very true. Although Disney is no longer involved in this town, the story is worth… Read More »Celebration, a new look.
