Song Choice: “Colors of the Wind” from Disney’s Pocahontas
Bio: Gabi Nicole Carrubba was just 14 years old at the time she won the audience vote at the American Idol Experience finale show, so she’ll have to wait a few years before taking advantage of that ‘Dream Ticket’ fast pass to the front of the audition line for American Idol. Even so, at 14 Carrubba has great vocals and lots of experience under her belt including touring with a Broadway production of “Annie” and playing the title role in Madison Square Garden with Kathy Lee Gifford.
Interestingly, Gabi is the first contestant to win singing a ‘Dream Ticket’ singing a Disney song.
