Disney has announced a new limited time drone show will fill the skies over Disney Springs at Walt Disney World this summer.
The Details
The show is called “Disney Dreams That Soar” and will use state-of-the-art drones choreographed to create designs in the sky. They will fly through the sky paired to a musical score of Disney favorites, along with memorable movie quotes.
The show will take place over the water on the West Side of Disney Springs, where there is plenty of open walkways to watch the show from.
And yes, it’s free to watch. The parking at Disney Springs is also free.
“Disney Dreams That Soar” will run nightly at Disney Springs from May 24 through September 2, 2024.
This isn’t the first time drones have been used at Disney Springs. In 2016, Walt Disney World used them to create a holiday light show.
Since then, drones have been heavily used in night time shows at Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and other Disney parks.
