The winners of the 96th annual Academy Awards were unveiled Sunday night at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation in Hollywood, and Disney films walked away with 5 awards.
Heading into the awards show, The Walt Disney Company had received 20 nominations, many for Searchlight Picture’s “Poor Things.”
That film managed to win four of its eleven nominations, including Best Actress for Emma Stone.
Also bringing home the Oscar was ‘The Last Repair Shop.” for Best Documentary Short Film.
